Ophidian Black Cherry opens with a burst of tart cherry, raspberry and bergamot. Juicy and slightly sharp, the fruit has an almost dark-red intensity to it - sweet, but with enough bite to keep things interesting.
The heart turns richer and more decadent as praline, heliotrope and Damask rose begin to emerge. Then the oud steps in, adding a darker, smokier edge that cuts through the sweetness and gives the fragrance its distinctive character. It’s where the juicy fruit starts to feel considerably more dangerous.
The dry-down gets darker still. Tonka bean and patchouli bring warmth and earthiness, while Haitian vetiver adds a dry, woody edge and incense brings a subtle smoky depth. The sweetness remains, but it’s wrapped in woods, spice and resin rather than left to run wild.
Black Cherry is sweet with a dark side. Juicy cherry and raspberry meet praline, oud and smoky woods for a fragrance that feels rich, rebellious and just a little bit mysterious.
