Hawas La Mer opens with a blast of peppermint, bergamot and mandarin - crisp, cool and immediately refreshing. The mint gives it that almost icy quality, while the citrus keeps things bright and sparkling rather than medicinal.

Then comes the interesting part. Blackcurrant brings a juicy, slightly tart fruitiness, softened by jasmine and an unexpected carrot accord. The carrot adds an earthy, almost green edge that gives the fragrance more character than your usual fresh-and-clean composition.

As it settles, fig brings a subtle creamy sweetness while amber and woody notes add warmth underneath. The freshness never completely disappears, but it becomes smoother and more rounded as the fragrance develops.
